UFC 96: Dustin Hazelett vs. Ben Saunders

The UFC is filling up UFC 96, with the return of Dustin Hazelett in his native Ohio to fight Ben Saunders.  Saunders created a buzz when he dominates Brandon Wolff at UFC Fight for The Troops. He used his Muay Thai skills to dominate Wolff that is worthy of a highlight reel.  Hazelett is also very impressive with his skills.  He is a submission expert that can turn the tide of a fight. He forces Tamdan McCrory to tap in his last fight.

UFC 96: Gray Maynard vs. Jim Miller

It has been agreed that a fight will happen between Gray Maynard and Jim Miller at UFC 96 at lightweight . They are considering several venues for the fight.

This will be a good lightweight fight, both Maynard and Miller are serious contenders. Miller is from the IFL and is already 2-0 in the UFC. He already beat up Matt Wiman.  But, he will still need a good performance and time to prepare for a very tough Gray Maynard. Maynard has good wins against Frank Edgar and Rich Clementi.

This will be a very exciting fight which will also feature Chuck Liddell, Brandon Vera, Keith Jardine and a heavyweight match between Shane Carwin and Gabriel Gonzaga.

UFC 97: David Loiseau vs. Ed Herman

The UFC is stacking their fight cards for the first quarter of 2009.  It seems that the UFC 97 will feature a bout between David Loiseau and Ed Herman.  Loiseau was a former number one contender who was dropped by the UFC, but has fought his way back.  Ed Herman has had a rough time in the octagon, but has been off and on since being the Ultimate Fighter 3 runner up.  Herman lost a very close decision to Alan Belcher that many feel Herman won.

UFC 95: Josh Koscheck vs. Paulo Thiago

mma, UFC 92,

UFC 95 has no main event, that's why it has created little interests on fans. But don't fret, it seems that they have stacked it up a bit, with welterweight star Josh Koscheck return in London versus Brazilian Paulo Thiago. It will be Thiago UFC debut and will be against one of the best in the division.

This is Koscheck’s last fight on his contract.  We have to wonder if he has re-signed or if he is done with the UFC after this fight following the dispute that arose between the UFC and The American Kickboxing Academy.

This will be an interesting fight.
